Chiropractic Education and Community in Maryland
Dr. Lief Hands continued his education following his pre-med studies into perusing his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. A combination of working with people to achieve higher levels of health, personal experiences with chiropractic care, and a hands on approach all contributed to choosing chiropractic as his career and passion. Through the Crofton office of Precise Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, Dr. Hands looks forward to serving the community as well as the surrounding communities of Bowie, Odenton, and Gambrills, Maryland. Dr. Hands is active in many fundraising, volunteer, and leadership activities in the immediate community.
In addition to his love for a good book, Dr. Hands enjoys experiencing what life has to offer. A phrase that has resonated with Dr. Hands is “Movement is life.” If you are not our living life on a regular basis, experiencing for yourself what this world has to offer, than so much is being missed. This includes exploring cities, small towns, enjoying a drive through the country, attending a function with family or friends, breathing in the fresh air on an afternoon walk, etc… There are many aspects of life that make it what it is. What takes the top step for Dr. Hands however, is his truest of all personal passions, the outdoors. From competing in a sailboat race on the Chesapeake to exploring a new mountain peak, enjoying what life has to offer is of primary importance.
Dr. Lief Hands serves Crofton, Bowie, Odinton and all areas of Maryland
Dr. Hands’ formal education in health and the human body began during his undergraduate studies of kinesiology and physiology. Although his passion for education started much earlier before this. Reading books and independently perusing knowledge on how the body works from the nervous system, muscular system, the skeleton, the heart, training the bodies physiology, etc… To this day, Dr. Hands’ voracious appetite for books continues. Not a week goes by that a few pages of a good book are not turned.
